We didn’t get to all the Christmas activities that I had planned for us, but we did spend the entire month of December making gifts for family.
There was a lot of plastic canvasing, knitting, and crocheting.
The younger ones really enjoyed making the bookmarks linked in my previous post. I regret not getting some close-up photos of the finished bookmarks. My 2yo made some cute ones, and had a blast making them.
The boys made clocks and sculptures from old computer parts and wire. This is how my table looked for much of December! My favorites were the trees made from large rocks and wire. You can see one in the middle of the mess above (next to the glass of water.)
The mess was worth it. We all had a lot of fun letting the creativity abound.
The boys cruised around on Instructables and found directions for making flower sculptures from computer parts. They also made several types of clocks from old hard drives.
This is one time that my hubby’s pile of old computer parts actually came in handy!
Wow! That clock is really neat! I have a hard time reading clocks without numbers, though.
