Scrappy Longies

The evening after my last post I spent knitting. The snow kept on falling outside, and I sat in my warm and cozy living room knitting. Before long, the Scrappy Longies were finished!

My girlie loves them! This is soo not a great picture, but I simply could not get this 2 year old to hold still! And she had her shirt tail full of toys that she would not put down. She is so funny.

For those of you who want specifics: These were made with my DaisyHead Delight pattern, using a knitted closed elastic waistband and left over bits of worsted weight wool (some commercial and some hand dyed). The ruffle is the EasterBunz Ruffled Cuff.

Knitting is so relaxing for me, and it’s so much better when the recipient enjoys the gift!

  1. Hi Connie! I met you (again) at the Muncie Alliance Church for the first (informational meeting??) but first at your garage sale a year or so ago! I've been wanting to see how the last meeting went and decided to look you up! First though I saw your soakers (I remembered we talked about them that night at the meeting.) I am intrigued!!
