Sprinkle Praise… Generously

31 Days of Parenting Teens:: Day 12

Today's tip is an easy one, but it's one that I tend to forget.

Teens need praise. They need it every day.

With all the correction and life lessons that teens get in a normal day, it's easy for them to feel like the world is against them. And like they are horrible people.

It's our job to make sure they don't believe it.

A little praise goes a long way to remind a teen that he (or she) was created as a wonderful, unique person made in the image of God.

So let's sprinkle praise every day. And let's sprinkle it generously.
