When I have one of those days where I am at wit’s end with my teens, it always helps me to take a minute and reflect.
I think back to when I was a teenager. . .
What was it that I wanted from life? What was it that I really wanted on that day?
What did I feel I needed from my parent on that day in order to be happy? To be successful?
Then I try to do that for my teen.
It’s often a very small act that makes a very big impact.

Do your teens ever prompt you to think about to your teen days?
{As you can tell, I fell behind on my 31 Days series. Drat those viruses. However, I will be finishing it out, so keep checking back over the next few days until I hit Day 31 and the big wrap-up.}
Come back for more on parenting teens tomorrow. Better yet, get it in your inbox so you won’t miss a day! I’d also like to invite you to join the conversation at The Daisyhead on Facebook. I’d love to meet you!

Hi there…popping over from Jennilee's just because. Enjoyed this post. I often reflect on my teen years when trying to understand my teenage son's perspective. It has helped me to remember the importance of grace…grace we all need! Blessings to you…
